dining in Palmdale. A welcome change from the ordinary
meat and potatoes, or tacos and beans, or hamburger and
fries. Mythos specializes in the food of Greece, Egypt,
and the Mediterranean.
Adam Gad, the friendly owner, delights in sharing all
the tastes and smells of his early Greek and Egyptian
heritage. Among the many choices are, shish-kebab,
falafel, gyros, lamb, fish, and shrimp koufta (Adam's
special dish of ground shrimp, onion, garlic, parsley,
dill, rice flour, and spices, deep fried, served on a
bed of rice, and topped with garlic tomato sauce).
Appetizers of hummus, tabouli, dolmades, and feta cheese
are available to enhance the savory experience. The
