coaches and staff are committed to our visions and goals. United, all coaches
provide an extensive soccer background which presents
invaluable lessons and experience for the betterment of
the club, teams and players.In addition,
all coaches have obtained the necessary national coaching licenses along with
risk management clearance, in compliance with CSL guidelines.
Coach Sahar Haghdan has an extensive
background in Southern California Soccer. A
2005 graduate of Highland High School(Palmdale,
CA), named the Golden League's MVP in 2004 and AVsports.com's Antelope
Valley's Athlete of the Year in 2003 and 2004, coach Haghdan was also a
part of the Cal South team from 2002 to 2005 that earned regional ODP
championships from 2003 to 2005, with a 2004 national championship.
Furthermore, she won the U16 national championship in 2003 and 2004 in
SoCal FUTSAL (five to a side). Her play earned her the title of a
Top-100 recruit in the Nation and one of four Long Beach State
University 49ers in the top-100 to sign in 2005, on the 15th-ranked
recruiting class in the nation. In 2005 she earned Honorable mention
All-Big West Honors and was one of eight starting freshman. In 2006 she
earned first team All-Big West, ranked ninth in the Big West in goals
and tenth in overall points. Finishing her career with 55 of 56 game
starts, ninth all-time leading goal scorer, fifth all-time in assists
and seventh best all-time points holder for the Long Beach 49ers, Coach
Haghdan Graduated with a BS in Political Science from LBSU.
Her experience and accomplishments, combined with her passion for
developing players, helps to make Coach Haghdan a great asset to
California Elite Soccer Club.
