United, all coaches provide an extensive
soccer background which presents invaluable lessons and experience for the
betterment of the club, teams and players. In addition,
all coaches have obtained the necessary national coaching licenses along with
risk management clearance, in compliance with CSL guidelines.
California Elite President and Director of Coaching
 Coach Charles Gordon, a standout
team captain and repeating most valuable player in the Collegiate Division 1 Mountain Pacific
Soccer Federation, leads our club with character, professionalism, and a coaching knowledge
which consist of American, South American,
Middle Eastern, and European tactics.
With
experiences at the AYSO, High School, Club, State Select, ODP, Collegiate,
Professional, and
International levels of soccer, Coach
Gordon has develop a system of play that has proven to be
very successful for the individual, the team, and the club.
Furthermore,
his ability to deliver and relate the material to players is unparalleled. With
his Bachelors
degree in the field of Kinesiology, professional California clear teaching credential, and ten
years of teaching experience in the field of physical education, coach Gordon
understands the
needs and different learning modalities of the each player.
His dedication
and commitment to success is apparent, and his goal is for each player to have
a positive, fun-filled, learning experience.
Coach Gordon focuses his efforts in providing
a soccer education for the whole player, therefore, by basing his teachings on
strong character,
team unity, hustle and pride, committed players will understand what it takes
and be given
the opportunity to achieve soccer at the “next level”.
